LENGTH OF SFCC SERVICE/PRIOR EXPERIENCE

Dr. Clowers joined St. Francis Career College as the Executive Director in December 2011. She has over 15 years of experience working in a variety of institutions of higher education (including both provate and public institutions) offering academic programs ranging from education to doctoral-level study.

Dr. Clowers has previous administrative experience that includes positions as Vice President of Academic Affairs, Dean of Academic Affairs and academic program director. She has extensive background working with regional, state, and national regulatory agencies and accrediting bodies. As an academic administrator, she has a record of strong leadership in institutional strtegic planning and new program development.

Prior to her positions in academic administration, Dr. Clowers was a full-time faculty member in graduate-level Counseling and Clinical Psychology programs. as a professor, she taught course such as Psychopathology Diagnosis and Treatment Planning, Psychological Testing and Cultural Diversity. Dr. Clowers also has sered as an adjunct faculty, teacjing undergraduate Psychology courses such as Introduction to Psychology and Lifespan Development.
