"St. Francis Career College (SFCC) is a wonderful life changing atmosphere.  Any person looking to move forward toward a successful rewarding career is capable of doing so here.  At the age of 18, I found myself on St. Francis Career College’s doorsteps vulnerable and with little resources.  SFCC provided me with the education, life skills and support to become a nurse.  They also taught me to give back and to become a contributor to society.  Working as a nurse throughout the years at St. Francis in acute and critical care and on the trauma team has allowed me the experience to participate in being an integral part in saving lives, all because SFCC saved mine.

 Today I work as the Simulation Skills Lab Coordinator in SFCC’s state of the art skills lab which serves as a learning resource for nursing students.  I work with students who like me, face extraordinary obstacles and challenges.  It is my aspiration to help them realize that they have the ability to overcome their difficulties.  With all the support of our talented staff and team of nurse educators, our students go on to succeed brilliantly and achieve their hopes and dreams of working in the healthcare field."
