St. Francis Career College (SFCC) coordinates and offers the LVN-RN Bridge Program, through East Los Angeles College (ELAC), giving Licensed Vocational Nurses who have completed their prerequisite and general education requirements, the opportunity to enroll in ELAC’s Associates Degree Registered Nurse Program. *This program is limited to SFCC Alumni, St. Francis Medical Center associates, St. Vincent Medical Center associates and White Memorial Medical Center associates.

Vocation

Students who successfully complete the ADRN Program are eligible to take the  examination for the State of California. Upon passing the examination for the State of California, the licensee may be employed as a Registered Nurse in health care settings.

Currently SFMC provides scholarships to those participants who make a 2-year employment commitment at SFMC. This program is funded by the Health Resource & Services Administration, Department of Labor, and Daughters of Charity Foundation until 2010-2011.
